Sometimes it just takes going back to basics to beat your artist block.

AN: This is very topical for me right now. It’s especially difficult to deal with artist block when it’s your job. When there’s no one to report to, deadlines tend to slip away. I know I’m guilty of putting off important personal projects that will set me up in the long run to do work for other people; it’s that damn instant gratification. I go through huge creative bursts of energy, then reach a point where all I can work on is stuff I don’t care about—things like designing social media posts over drawing my comic series or exporting video files instead of adding new products to my Etsy Shop.

Until next week,
